A group of hackers going with the handle of Syrian Revolution Electronic Suite (SRES) has hacked and defaced the official website of Kremlin’s envoy to the Far East (www.dfo.gov.ru), requesting Russians to put a grip on their government and stop providing weapons to Syrian government.

The hackers left their deface page along with a message on hacked website in English and Arabic language, according to which a request of stopping weapon grant to President Bashar Assad’s forces in Syria.

MoscowTimes reports that message left on the site was threatening for Russian government, making clear that if Russia kept on providing weapons to Syrian government, it wont have any place in ‘New Syria’.

This Website has been hacked as a response to the support by the Russian regime to the Syrian regime. We encourage all the Russian people to stop their government from providing the Syrian regime with heavy weaponry

The Syrian regime doesn’t believe in dialogue, and we (Syrians) refuse to conduct dialogue to with the killers of children.

Syrian won’t have any role or benefits in the new Syria if they continue their support to Assad and his regime.

However, in the end of the message, hackers apologized to Russian people for hacking the website “We apologize to all kind Russians for hacking this website. But Assad is murdering our children and destroying our cities.”

The hacking occurred a day after Assad asked the BRICS group of countries, which includes Russia, to intervene in the conflict in order to stop violence in Syria.
