Sri Lankan Media Center for National Security Site Defaced, Login info Leaked by @ThisIsGame0ver

The official website of Sri Lankan National Security Media Center (nationalsecurity.lk) has been hacked and defaced by a hacker going with the handle of @ThisIsGame0ver.

The hack was announced by the hacker on his official Twitter account, which shows that site was defaced yesterday and a load of data was pasted on another site.

The hacker did not only defaced the site but redirected it to another site (ilovefcc.com/gameover) and gained access to the server, resulting in taking away and leaking hundreds of login information of the site users.

According to the MNSC’s about us section: The MNSC is the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) was established for the specific purpose of disseminating all national security and defence-related information and data to the Media and the public from one co-coordinated centre.

MCNS, the brainchild of President Mahinda Rajapaksa comes within the purview of Defence Spokesman for the Government and Secretary, Ministry of Defence, is administered by the Director General of the MCNS. Media coordinators of all three Armed Forces, Police & Special Task Force, attached to the Joint Operations Headquarters (JOH), liaise with field formations and work round the clock to ensure speedy collection and dissemination of information.

Earlier, the same hacked hacked the official website of Pakistan’s Okara police site and leaked personal information of police officers.
