Daily Mail UK Newspaper Discussion Forum Hacked and Defaced by TeaM MADLEETS

Newly emerging Pakistan based hacking group TeaM MADLEETS has done a high profile defacement in which the official forum of world renowned UK based Newspaper Daily Mail was hacked and defaced few hours ago.

The forum was hacked by TeaM MADLEETS hacker gong with the handle of 1337, who uploaded his deface page along with a message. The deface message was expressed in following words:

  • Struck by 1337! Dailymail STAMPED by PAKISTANI LEETS! Security is just an illusion..We are TeaM MADLEETS! Greeting to the team. Pakistan Zindabad.

It seems that hacker used a vulnerably currently present in vBulletin as the Daily Mail UK is powered by vBulletin which is Internet forum software produced by Jelsoft Enterprises.

However, this is not the first time when Daily Mail UK had its website hacked. On February 05, 2012, recipes page of Daily Mail was hacked and defaced by TriCk TMp of TeaMp0isoN hacking group.

TeaM MADLEETS is a newly form hacking group which has gained name in a short period of time by hacking several Google domains all over the world.

At the time of publishing this article, the website of Daily Mail UK Newspaper discussion forum was not working and taken offline.
