Hackers from Syrian Cyber Eagles group have claimed to hack and breach the website of Privacy Corps (www.privacycorps.com), famous for its products to block unwanted calls and stop junk faxes.
The hackers who seem to found unknown vulnerability, breaching into the server by bypassing all the security set against the websites leaking account information of 1847 company’s clients.
Leak was announced by the hackers on their official Twitter account.
Syrian Cyber Eagles have posted the data on Pastebay which shows emails and passwords in clear text form.
Keeping clients password in clear text form should be considered as crime as in today’s cyber world, one can’t be hundred percent sure about the existing vulnerabilities.
Good luck to Privacy Corps.
