New Surveillance System Tracks Every Moving Object In An Entire City

An ultimate level of spy has been manufactured by the BAE systems as part of their contract with DAPRA (Defence Advanced Research Project Agency). The spy can keep track an entire city from an altitude of 20,000 meters  From the people and insects moving on the land to the birds in the air it can track everything with ease. The creator of the spy Yiannis Antoniades says:

“Everything that is a moving object is being automatically tracked… You can see individuals crossing the street. You can see individuals walking in parking lots. There’s actually enough resolution to be able to see people waving their arms or what kind of clothes they wear,” But, the city here doesn’t reflect any city, but, medium-sized city in which up to 15 square miles tracking can be done.”

The spy has a 1.8 billion mega-pixel ARGUS-IS surveillance camera and 368 5 mega-pixel cell phone cameras attached to it. It has a recording time 5000 non-stop hours and can store 1 million terabytes of data in 24 hours. Options of zoom in and out also work with this spy. All the footage taken by the spy are of HD quality.

This project was started in the year 2007, but, official pictures aren’t available till now due to special government. Only due to government’s agreement over the news to be leaked to the media has allowed this news to flourish. No hint over the usage of this spy is also kept hidden; the creator of this spy has disagreed over telling about this matter. But, somehow, he provided one hint in which he said drone could be the perfect platform for the spy.

A prediction from the experts has hinted 30,000 of this type of spy in the American sky. But, one of the experts writes: “Now, consider this technology in the context of extra-judicial drone strikes initiated by artificial intelligence assessment parameters that automatically determine if you are a threat or not, and you can see how dangerous drones armed with these imaging systems will become.”
