Her partner was also arrested after Europol was tipped about the dark web child abuse.
Europol has been tightening its grip over online, especially dark web sexual predators, pedophiles, and distributors of child sexual abuse content with collaborative efforts from international law enforcement agencies. The latest breakthrough in this regard is the arrest of a nursery school teacher by the Hungarian National Police.
It all started when Europol was tipped about the teacher’s involvement in the selling of child sexual abuse content on the dark web. In 2019, Europol directed authorities to investigate the matter, and it was revealed that the teacher’s partner helped her in this heinous crime while the content was created at the teacher’s home.
The partner abused the teacher’s niece and their child to create child abuse content for the dark web audience. Furthermore, the teacher possessed sexually explicit photos of school children as well. They distributed child abuse content on different pedophile forums hosted on the dark web, using several IDs, and this had been going on for several years.

Europol Victim Identification Task Forces were asked to particularly focus on this case and Europol facilitated the investigators by providing victim identification, analytical, and open-source support. Interpol’s International Child Sexual Exploitation database was also used to identify victims and offenders.
During a search of the suspects’ residence, investigators seized IT equipment which contained additional images and videos of child sexual abuse, Europol said in a press release.
Once the investigation was complete, the investigators obtained a search warrant and raided the couple’s residence, where they confiscated IT equipment and arrested the culprits. Further probe revealed additional child abuse content including videos and photos. The school teacher and her partner are now in the custody of Hungarian police and will be prosecuted in Hungary.

This is one of Europol’s major success stories in a month. On April 2nd, authorities nabbed an international gang of dark web child abusers and seized 15TB of files including audios and videos. Earlier in March this year, authorities were able to seize DarkScandals which was notoriously known for hosting real-life child abuse and real-life blackmailing site on normal as well as the dark web.
