OGUsers was also hacked in May 2019, April 2020, and December 2020.

Another day, another data breach hits OGUsers, a cybercrime forum, and marketplace for stolen credentials and financial data. Yes, OGUsers has suffered another data breach in which its entire database has been dumped on a rival hacking forum.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth time since 2019 that the OGUsers forum witnessed a data breach. Previously, the forum was hacked in May 2019, April 2020, and December 2020. In all three cases, its database was stolen and leaked online.

This time around, the database contains login credentials and personal details of almost 350,000 registered users. Hackread.com has seen the data which includes:

  1. Usernames
  2. Email addresses
  3. Password hashes
  4. Login Keys
  5. Date of birth
  6. Links to users’ avatars
  7. Account registration date
  8. Number of threads, posts, and awards.

While the database has been dumped online, another hacker is claiming to have access to an OGUsers database that contains private messages of its users. The database is being sold for $30000 however, it is unclear whether they obtained the database in another breach. According to their listing, the breach took place on April 11th, 2021.

Nevertheless, the leaked information can help law enforcement officials take action against those who have been involved in illegal activities in the past on the forum. This keeping in mind the nature of the forum would include the buying or selling of hacked social media accounts and similar malicious services.

In fact, this did happen back in August 2020, when a Bitcoin scam was on the rise with the accounts of famous celebrities getting hijacked on Twitter, one of the perpetrators caught was linked to OGUsers using the data from the previous breaches of the forum.
